Cedar Hill Continuing Care Community is looking for an adult, family or gerontological nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority to work at our retirement community.  Cedar Hill has a 39-bed licensed skilled nursing facility, a 15-bed residential care home and a 21-apartment assisted and independent living facility all on one campus in Windsor. We are a family-owned independent community founded 20 years ago by two registered nurses.

We are looking for a nurse practitioner who can work directly with our residents and in collaboration with our medical director and other attending physicians. We want the ARNP to work closely with our residents’ physicians to coordinate any additional care and help provide wellness care and training. You would be working in the nursing home, with both skilled-level and long-term residents, as well as in our residential care and assisted living homes.

We are flexible about how to structure this position, whether it would be full-time or part-time and the days and times you would be here at Cedar Hill. We are considering both hiring the ARNP onto our staff or working with an ARNP in collaboration with our Medical Director or another doctor’s office.

Our belief is that by having an ARNP on our staff or  working more closely with us through a doctor’s office we will improve the quality of care to our residents and the training of our staff.

If you are interested in speaking with me about this position, please call me at Cedar Hill or email me at adm@cedarhillccc.com. We are excited to talk with you about our growing health-care team at Cedar Hill.
