Job Opportunities

* Moved quarterly meetings from Randolph to Vermont Interactive TV. This is an effort to improve access to the Board, improve communication and allow for more participation from APRNs throughout the state. We hope to continue this as long as our financial health permits.

* Increased utilization of the listserv for communication to all APRNs who have signed up.

* Participated in an Ad Hoc Committee for the Board of Nursing on Scope of Practice for APRNs.

* Sat on the Vermont Advisory Committee for the Bi-state Primary Care Recruitment Center.; This is an ongoing commitment.

* Participated in an AANP Fellows Think Tank on the future direction of NP practice.; The resulting information was used in the latest AANP Fellows White Paper on NP Practice.

* Approved moving the Annual Conference venue to Stowe to improve access for APRNs throughout the state.

* Worked with a group of APRNs interested in removing the collaborative practice language from the Vermont Rules and Regulations governing our practice.;

* Consulted with the Board of Nursing, NP groups from Maine , New Hampshire, Oregon and New Mexico and sought legal advice about the process for a Rules change.
